This cake was made for my step-brother's birthday, and he loves rubber ducks. So my Mom came across these duck candles and planned accordingly.
I think it is so important for a birthday cake to match the personality of the birthday person. In this case, most people would question a duck cake for a 22 year old, but if that's what he wants, then it's a score to find the duck candles. And a person feels so special when they see their cake and they know in a second it's theirs!
Plus, it makes the baker feel really good to see someone really happy when they see their cake!
